KSTA made the strategic decision, based on CDC guidelines and with the input of our membership, to host our Annual Conference virtually! We are excited to present curated sessions facilitated by experienced presenters, with special guests, vendors, and times for sharing and connecting with other science educators across Kentucky! 

What to expect at the conference:

  • Experience a variety of sessions for P-20 teachers and faculty each day
  • Dr. Stephen Pruitt, former KY Education Commissioner and current president of the Southern Regional Education Board
  • Special guests including Page Keeley, Lori Norton-Meier, and Lin Xiang
  • Explore science resources and services during two live Vendor Showcase presentations
  • Connect and build relationships with science education colleagues in our open chats and virtual 'registration table'
  • Keynote address by Philip Bell

Attendees will receive PD credit for participation. Please check with your administration to ensure that they will allow this conference as hours toward your PD requirements.

KSTA Members: $75
Non-Members: $100

Teachers/Coaches/Administrators/Higher Ed. Faculty


Current Members: you will be directed to log into your profile to register.

Non-Members: you can attend the conference for $100, or join KSTA with a 1-year membership for only $25 AND attend the conference for $75! That means you can get all the benefits of membership and attend the conference for the same $100 total.
 Students: $40

Pre-service undergraduate teaching students

Includes a free 1-year KSTA membership!
