Kentucky Horse Park Field Trip Scholarship Fund

The Kentucky Horse Park and International Museum of the Horse are ready to welcome you and your students for an engaging and educational field trip experience, while connecting our programs to both Kentucky standards and your class curriculum.
Continuing last year’s field trip assistance program, our Kentucky Horse Park Field Trip Fund provided by the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation offers admission support for all Kentucky public schools. For the fall of 2018, our scholarship program covers the full cost of admission for each Kentucky public school student (kindergarten through high school), their teachers, and up to one chaperone per ten students. We also offer a bus fund to help with transportation costs (up to $100 per trip). Private schools can also be eligible based on their percentage of free or reduced lunch.
The Field Trip Fund is available on a first-come, first-served basis while funding remains. While field trips are scheduled year-round, the scholarship assistance is for trips made between September 1- October 31, 2018.
During a field trip to the Park, students will have a guided tour of the International Museum of the Horse, visit the Kids Barn, the Hall of Champions, the Big Barn, and Breeds Barn. Lunches are typically picnic style unless weather becomes an issue.
Please visit our School Group page for more information and to schedule your visit. And don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have!
